Emini Trading

An emini is a futures contract equal to 1/5 the standard futures contract size.

There are several different emini products. The 1st emini was the S&P 500 emini that debuted in the late 1990s. It was very successful and the CME decided to roll out other emini products. The following is a list of emini trading products

  • E-mini S&P 500 (Dollar)
  • E-mini S&P 500 (Euro)
  • E-mini S&P MidCap 400
  • E-mini S&P SmallCap 600
  • E-mini NASDAQ-100
  • E-mini Dow ($5)
  • E-mini NASDAQ Composite
  • E-mini NASDAQ Biotechnology
